These triple layer face masks have a third layer which acts as a pocket for a pm2.5 replaceable filter and are made of 19mm 100% Silk Charmeuse a sublime fabric luxurious fabric with a firm, soft, supple feel and a stunning sheen. It is the spectacular draping ability however, which makes these masks unique. Once secured in place they conform to the lines of your face. Being silk, these masks are much less bulky and easy to breathe through and I must say they are incredibly stylish. The elastic is soft and has a small toggle that allows you to adjust the fit to your features.
Silk is the most beneficial fabric against our skin. Sericin also known as Silk Amino Acid is a protein created in the production of silk. Sericin has high levels of Serine which has excellent moisture preservation characteristics.
These masks have an insert pocket in the back for you to replace the filter as needed. The mask itself needs a simple hand wash and cool iron or steam. Sides are elastic with slides to tighten as needed.
Care is simple – rule of thumb is care for silk as you would your hair. Remove the filter from the pocket. In tepid water hand wash with shampoo, rinse, then wash with conditioner, rinse. Gently squeeze out excess water and allow to dry on towel. Iron the silk on silk setting with steam – do not iron the elastic sides.
