These are a special flutter fan set in that they have launched as part of the 2020 collection.
Flutter fans – Stave length closed 29cm, dyed with blacklight UV dyes so will glow under blacklight. Silk is hemmed top and bottom with silk thread to ensure uniform colour throughout.
These fans are sold as pair of left and right hand fans.
Silk Bazaar Fans are completely hand dyed and hand made in the Hawkesbury Region in Sydney Australia, each set is a work of art. The silk is purchased in a natural state, it is then processed and hand dyed in my studio to your colour specifications and assembled by hand with much love and oodles of patience in my studio. My fans are made with premium quality 5mm silk habutai, and hemmed top and bottom with silk thread prior to dying to ensure the colours are perfectly matched throughout. The length of the silk is just over 50cm.
I import bamboo bases that are strong, durable with maximum number of staves to ensure strength, stability and usability. Being a perfectionist, my fans have to have the best of everything – from fabric to dye to bamboo and most importantly time – these babies are created over the space of at least one week. The results make your performance one that will mesmerise your audience with silk fans that float like none other available on the market today.
